Now, remembering this was one of my first out-of-state trips, I was a bit uneasy. Running into someone with the obviously greagarious demeanor of Lowl, I quickly forgot that is was 113 degrees out that day. Instead, we laughed as our caregivers discoursed upon such utterly boring human topics in the other room.
Another small world story happened in the parking lot of the hoity toity supermarket. As per usual, we were loaded with Heart in Oregon stickers and other HiO swag. http://heartsticker.com/ When we saw this Prius with a sticker like this in Az, my parents decided to put some other random HiO swag on the Prius itself, for the unsuspecting owner to discover and wonder about. Here's the Prius.... We also tipped the owner of the wine bar in Jerome, Az, an old mining town on the side of a mountain, with said stickers and were treated to the never-boring "I'm actually from Oregon!" stories. See below...
Now this trip was super exciting. Probably the most amazing thing was I got to FLY! In a helicopter, that is. It was funny because my parents convinced themselves that they could handle a one hour timeshare meeting in an air conditioned lodge, with drinks, for two free heli rides. They did not even make it for five minutes. This was also the scene of the epic photo by Lowl's male care giver at twilight of the night we slept in Shaman's Cave, an extraordinary orifice with galactic vibes.
And finally, the flight home. This time in an airplane! Right over the Grand Canyon. We even flew over a forest fire part of the natural life and death cycles around us everywhere. And it reminds me of Lowl. I will miss you forever, my friend. So sorry the new doggy ate you up :(.
Best,
