Speaking of friends...
Old friends...
This is a friend who meant a lot to me in the very short time I knew him, less then 100 hours. His name was "Lowl." Now, I am not certain this was his real name. Heck, I am not certain Peggy is MY real name! Anyway, we met in a back room on the shores of Oak Creek, in Sedona, Az. one June day.
Now, remembering this was one of my first out-of-state trips, I was a bit uneasy. Running into someone with the obviously greagarious demeanor of Lowl, I quickly forgot that is was 113 degrees out that day. Instead, we laughed as our caregivers discoursed upon such utterly boring human topics in the other room.
Now this trip was super exciting. Probably the most amazing thing was I got to FLY! In a helicopter, that is. It was funny because my parents convinced themselves that they could handle a one hour timeshare meeting in an air conditioned lodge, with drinks, for two free heli rides. They did not even make it for five minutes.
This was also the scene of the epic photo by Lowl's male care giver at twilight of the night we slept in Shaman's Cave, an extraordinary orifice with galactic vibes.
And finally, the flight home. This time in an airplane! Right over the Grand Canyon. We even flew over a forest fire part of the natural life and death cycles around us everywhere. And it reminds me of Lowl. I will miss you forever, my friend. So sorry the new doggy ate you up :(.
Best,

Another small world story happened in the parking lot of the hoity toity supermarket. As per usual, we were loaded with Heart in Oregon stickers and other HiO swag. http://heartsticker.com/ When we saw this Prius with a sticker like this in Az, my parents decided to put some other random HiO swag on the Prius itself, for the unsuspecting owner to discover and wonder about. Here's the Prius.... We also tipped the owner of the wine bar in Jerome, Az, an old mining town on the side of a mountain, with said stickers and were treated to the never-boring "I'm actually from Oregon!" stories. See below...

MUSIC AND FRIENDS............TRAVELS AND TRENDS..........
This is a picture of me in front of my favorite guitar hero, Billy Nershi. I have seen him play so many times I can't even count on one hoof! This show was at the Laurelthirst LT in Portland, my current home, on July 21 2008. It was like 105 degrees, but MOTHER and FATHER got there early to get the best seats. Uncle Zootius was there too. But this was not the first time I was photographed with Billy up close and personal. No, not at all...........

That Berkeley trip was off the hook. My PARENTS took ne to San Francisco. We stayed on Haight Street at the Little Red Vic http://www.redvic.com/ We shopped at all of the stores like: the Piedmont Boutique. http://www.piedmontsf.com/ Wow, this place is nuts. If you have $100 for a pair of socks.
My FATHER still regrets and talks about not buying a purple vintage cowboy shirt with ridiculously huge embroidered flowers. It sure was beautiful (from what he tells me).
We met a lot of my current friends there at the Hotel Durant HotelDurant. This is the place to stay for shows at the GREEK THEATER. That is where the rule was made that I could never spend time with Pat. Also, this was the trip where i became separated from my PARENTS, and they had to post "Missing: Purple Pegasus- responds to Peggy" flyers on the doors of the hotel. Finally, Deb W saw the flyers and was able to locate me and bring me to my PARENTS, who were worried sick! Thanks Deb. How was Guam?
Here's a few more photos:

........the ongoing tales..............in no particular order....
This is one of my best friends' moms' water bottle. She left it at a place called BIRDLAND. I'm really good at finding stuff, cuz I gotta bird's eye view, so to speak.

This is a fuuny video of my FATHER and my friend RS from Black Rock Roller Disco. Great light and music! I didn't get out much the several times I was at Burning Man. It is not a place for the wary, but it is a place for the soul to flourish!

From whence I came...............
Here's my old view from the cabin in Idaho. My momma Daisy The Clown took real good care of me. We played hard, but for kids, not really for ourselves..........
See, we were a troupe of puppets. It was so long ago that I barely remember most of my old friends names. My friend OCTY however, made it to this next life with me. And did I mention my unprecedented ability to harness the attention of all sentient beings?
This is getting to be a little too emotional for me to continue at this point....please forgive.......

| The North Fork Store - famous from the movie "Bus Stop" with Marilyn Monroe just north of Sun Valley, Idaho closed its doors a couple of years ago. The sign is a classic and still stands today. |

What will make this so interesting...............
............is that this blog will tell the continuing craziness of my existence, but from various points of view!
It all started long ago in a li'l ole one shop town called North Fork, Idaho. Not less than 15 miles from the nearest post office, it was quite an existence. The people I spent time with there have mostly gone from my life. There are a few remaining, but the NEW life I have carved out is most certainly filled with as lively and colorful a cast of characters as ever! Now I live in one of the coolest places ever, Portland Oregon...... Now I don't want to brag or nuttin', BUT this lifestyle is like so IN_YOUR_FACE!

My humble beginnings..............
Hello everyone. Now that I'm a bit more computer savvy, I have decided, with my FATHER's permission, to begin my life as a blogger!
